Online booking is easy and convenient! It allows you to book, move or cancel an appointment whenever you think about it - whether our clinic is open or not.

However, it does have some limitations and restrictions - so if you can’t find the perfect time for your appointments, please email us at connect@kiaorachiropractic.com

Cancellation/No Show Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee to the card on file.

The original theory behind acupuncture treatment is that the healthy functioning of the body is governed by the flow of “qi” (often translated as “energy”) through a system of channels under the skin. When this flow of qi is impaired, illness occurs. By inserting fine needles at various points along the channels, the body’s balance can be restored and the illness resolved. Acupuncture points are believed to stimulate the central nervous system. This, in turn, releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's natural healing abilities and promote physical and emotional well-being.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on therapeutic technique that optimizes health through treatment of the muscles and fascia. It influences the nervous system and aids in flushing the fluid systems. Treatment benefits people of all ages and can enhance your overall emotional and physical well-being.

Sydney Stanicky is a Registered Acupuncturist dedicated to restoring balance, relieving pain, and promoting holistic well-being through compassionate, individualized care. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she empowers patients to take an active role in their healing journey by addressing the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, Sydney worked as a hairstylist, where she developed a deep appreciation for human connection and the power of helping others feel their best. Her own experience with chronic headaches — and witnessing her father’s ongoing health challenges — inspired her to pursue acupuncture as a path toward meaningful, lasting healing.

Sydney believes that mental health plays a foundational role in physical wellness and integrates this understanding into every treatment. She has a special interest in women’s health, mental wellness, digestive concerns, pain management, and headache relief, using a gentle and holistic approach to treat the root cause of imbalance rather than just the symptoms.
